Born in 1956, Yamato Ryumon began his martial arts journey early, studying kendo from a young age at Daidokan in Kagoshima. He received extensive training under the 20th head of Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu, Kono Hyakurenshi, and later founded Musoukan. Yamato Ryumon is renowned for his contribution to Iaido and his development of “Fighting Sword” techniques, aimed at practical and effective swordsmanship.
